As Group Digital Program Manager at Sussan Group (a leading fashion retailer managing Sussan, Sportsgirl and Suzanne Grae brands); I was responsible for planning their digital program at group level and a FTE digital producer.
My role was to plan and manage the program of work, provide strategic direction to each brand and guide their agencies approach to experience design with consideration of the extended site model built onto the IBM Websphere eCommerce platform.
The role required me to have a deep understanding of each brand, their customers, their strategic business goals and backstage business processes (all of which differed). This allowed me to guide their teams to how they could achieve unique experience designs on top of shared logic common to the IBM Websphere platform.
I worked closely with internal teams including IT, brand marketing teams and external vendors such as IBM and Systems Integrator teams. The program of work required deep integration with IT systems including; logistics, ERP, CRM and POS. I also managed suppliers, vendor selection & engagement and contract negotiation.
During this time I also re-established the Project Management Office (PMO) & advocated for best practise production methods, to improve efficiencies with remote development teams. I also co-ordinated engagement for program stakeholders at Group and Steering Committee levels.
